I would appreciate any available information on Lydia or John. Both are buried at the Union Cemetery in Powell, Mo. My records indicate that John was born in North Carolina May 1, 1817 and died May 5, 1905. Also my database indicates that Lydia was born January 20, 1832 in Tennessee and died December 28, 1917. I was told they had four children: Christopher Washington Hollaway born December 19, 1851 in North Carolina and died December 6, 1932 in McFarland, California. Christopher wed Alice Jane Smith on December 19, 1880. Alice was born January 16, 1861 in Elm Springs, Arkansas and died November 20, 1906 also in Elm Springs. Alice is buried in the Elm Springs Cemetery. I also have four children listed; one female without date of birth, another female born September 22, 1881, John A. born September 5, 1883, and William Marion born January 8, 1886. Henry R. Hollaway born April 24, 1860 in Georgia and died February 15, 1914. Wed Fannie E. Aaron who was born November 20, 1859 and died February 4, 1914. Both are buried in Arkansas. My information has seven children listed; Henry Jefferson born February 21, 1884, Ollie born February 11,1883, Anna born March 18, 1885, and Lark H. born in 1887, Allie born in 1893, Mary Adeline born August 2, 1894, and Jess William born August 31, 1899. Mary Jane Hollaway was born 1864 in Georgia. She wed Thomas Jefferson Modlin and had nine children; Elmer Wright born January 9, 1895, James Ishum, Minnie, Sadie, Thomas Edward, William Orlando, Jasper Franklin born November 2, 1862, Charlie C. born February 26, 1868, and Lydia born December 27, 1883.
