    2. After the Civil War a lot of soilders went to fl. to live. There were several from al. I think there was a James Hustin Martin from Alabama but I wouldn`t swear to it, but do know there were some from Barbour co. and other counties.     3. My James Houston MARTIN stayed in TN all his life except, if the census is to be believed, he went to AR sometime between 1850 and 1860. One of the children Johial was born in AR in 1854/55 but he was in TN in the 1850 and 1860 census. His son James Washington Martin fought for the Union.
