I am looking for the parents of Isaac Martin born 1801 in NC. In 1830 he is found in Lawrence (later Randolph ) Co. Arkansas. Wife unknown; children: Dorcas b. 1820 NC male b. 1823 NC George 1826 NC Murry Richard 1833 AR Nancy Elllenar Ann 1835 AR AR Isaac 1838 AR Mary A. (PollyP 1840 AR He married Ellender/Eleanor Price 2 Dec. 1852, Randolph Co. AR. They had Lucinda b. 1843 AR Emmaline b. aft 1850 AR Some think (no proof) he came through TN. I have found surname Martin as well as Crutchfield in Warren Co. TN. Dr. Crutchfield, in Randolph Co. AR, attended Isaac's family during illness, probably yellow fever, and subsequent death of Isaac, Ellenar, Dorcas, and Lucinda all within a three week period. Dr, Crutchfield later subcumb.
