Waco Times Herald, Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1915 "FORMER AGENT SAP HERE DIED IN NEW YORK, DEC. 19 Yesterday afternoon a letter was received by Judge W. H. Davis, clerk of Geyser City camp No. 6, Woodmen of the World, telling of the death in New York December 19 of A. V. Martin. The letter came from Mrs. A. V. Martin. For many years A. V. Martin was agent here for the San Antonio & Aransas Pass railway, and he went to New York about eight years ago, where he was connected with Wells Fargo Express company, having charge of one of the company's divisions in the metropolis. He was well known in Texas railroad circles, and was a brother of the late E. J. Martin, for many years general passenger agent of the SAP." Daniel E Horton
