Is there any possibility that this ROBERT & "my" ABRAHAM MARTIN (who lived VERY close to each other in the early /mid 1800's in Wayne and White Counties, IL) "your" ROBERT & ABRAHAM MARTIN??? or did all "your' MARTIN's go to MS and stay there? Laura, William Martin, my gggrandfather, remained in NE Mississippi. I have no information that Robert and Abraham came to Mississippi. However, a second look through my files found an old posting from a researcher that indicates that Robert Davis Martin married Sarah Griffin Warnick, and that Abraham (Abe) Martin married Mary D. Warnick. The same info says that Robert died in Tennessee, and that Mary Warnick was born in Tennessee. Thus it would appear that these 2 sons of Walter and Jane (Walker) Martin settled in Tennessee, and are probably not the Martin's you are seeking. Best regards, Kenneth W.
