I have a William H. Martin born 1826 (Could this be one of those census taker mistakes?) who mentions a Bailey in one of his letters. His daughter Melissa is later found with a George W. Martin living with her. I have lots of Lydia's in my family. I would suspect a connection somewhere. Do you know the name of William's children, wife and marriage date, or his parent's names?
