    3. Hello, Here is my ancestor: William M. Martin b. 1826 NC married: Mary M. Young, m. 7-24-1847 Rockingham Co NC. 1850 census at Rockingham Co NC 1860 census Henderson Co TN (Lexington area) 1870 census, same as above 1880 census, widow and most kids at Navarro Co TX William M. Martin died in Henderson Co TN, he died 1870 and the Masonic Lodge there recorded his death officially. The court of Henderson Co Tn appointed Barzilla J. Young to be legal guardians of his minor children. This man was the brother of Mary M. Young. Mary M. Young was born 1825 NC, she was the dauther of Robert and Mary Young of Rockingham Co NC. When Mary Young Martin was widowed in 1870, she remained in TN until 1878 and then moved herself, and almost all of her children with her, to Navarro Co TX. The 1880 census at Navarro Co TX shows 4 Martin households, and all are related to her. The children of William M. Martin and Mary M. Young are: 1. H. E. Martin b. 1850 NC, she is female, possibly Harriet? 2. George Wesley Martin b. 1849 NC, married Martha Virginia Cunningham at Lexington, Henderson Co TN, moved to Vavarrro Co TX. 3. Sawson, or Ramson Martin b. 1851 NC, in 1870 he was listed as aSaloon clerk in Henderson Co TN, I do not know if he remained in TN, or moved to TX with the family. 4. Mary Caroline Martin b. 1854, she might have never married, she died in Navarro Co TX and he name was still Martin. 5. Bailey J. Martin b. 1863/65 TN, he moved to TX. He is possibly named in honor of his grandfather, Bailey Martin of Rockingham Co NC. 6. Joseph Allen Martin b. 1867 TN, he moved to Navarro Co TX, he married there to Nancy E. Doolen, they moved to Sunset. Montague Co TX. They are my ancestors. 7. Margaret E. Martin b. 1869 TN 8. Isabelle/Isabella Martin 9. William B. Martin These last 3 named, were in the court documents in TN, but I did not find them listed in TX later.
