Hi Listers, I have been searching for information on my great great-grandfather's parents. He was born 6 Jan. 1809 in Onondaga Co. NY and died 3 Nov.1865 in Saginaw,MI..He is buried in Laporte Ceme. Midland Co. Mi. but there is no further info on him. He married Elizabeth Stanton, d/o William and Sophia (Palmer) Stanton born 1 Jan.1809 in Pownal, VT. There was a Census research indicates he may have been the son of John Martin of Camillus, later Spafford. John and Elizabeth Martin had 5 children. John Ephraim, 1930. Majesta 1831, Sophina 1833, Elizabeth 1840, and Wealthy 1842.
