Hi, I have a seen a Benjamin P. Martin born 1813 in Wilkes, North Carolina. His father was James Martin and Elvira Bryan. My gggrandfather Sylvester Martin born 1815 came from North Carolina to Ga and then to Al. My ggrandfather was also Benjamin Franklin Martin born Barbour co. al one of many children. This family then were located in Geneva co. al. I would love to find where in North Carolina Sylvester Martin came from. There were many Benjamin Martins in this area some came from North Carolina and some from South Carolina, There was some that went to centerpoint Texas in the 1870s and 80s.
