Martin, nearly 58, a resident of this town the past 10 years, died Monday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edward Francis in Putney. She had been ill the past three weeks and went to the home of her daughter a week ago after being hospitalized in Burlington where she underwent an operation. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Hommond's Funeral Home. The body will be taken to Orleans, VT., for burial.
