I wanted to see if anyone recognizes these names. They are my great, great grandparents and great grandparents. I really don't have all that much to go on, but here it is. My great, great grandparents were JAMES WILLIAM MARTIN born about 1805 died Feb. 23, 1882, he married EMMA GLASCOW (?) don't know when they married. He was called the Ol Sexton because he prepared the resting place of many Giles Countians, here in Pulaski, TN. I don't know where James and Emma are buried. Have no idea when or where Emma was born or died. I aslo don't know where James was born. I know they had at least one son not sure if there were any other children. The son was WILLIAM JAMES MARTIN born Nov. 2, 1848 Giles Co., TN and died Oct. 9, 1931 in Giles Co., TN. Grandpa married Martha J. Johnston Oct. 16, 1875 Giles Co., TN. I don't know when or where Martha was born or died. My Mother told me that she died when my grandfather was 2 or 3 years old and he didn't remember her. My grandfather was born in 1890. Grandpa(WM. JAMES) was also the sexton of the sexton of the cemetery where his father had been sexton. These are my "brickwalls". If any one can help I would appreciate it.
