I would like to see if anyone has information about my GGGrandmother, Mary Ellen Martin b. Dec. 17, 1853 and d. Feb. 23, 1932 in Sullivan co. TN. She is the daughter of Robert or Joseph Martin and Anne Lowe. Mary Ellen's death cert. lists Robert as her Father, although Johnson co. marriage records have Joseph Martin and Anne Lowe's marriage date as July 21, 1849. Mary Ellen married William Harvey Harrison on November 4, 1871. They lived in Campbell co. TN for over 30 years and moved to Bristol around 1914 to live near their children, Erby and Ollie. This information came from Edith Wilson Hutton's book, "John Ford and his Campbell co. Tn Descendants". I would be so thankful to find out more information about this Martin line.
