(probably last name MITCHELL, but that's not proven to me) She was born abt Oct 1857, also in AL. In 1900 census of Hill Co, Tex, she had 7 children/6 living. Their children were: 1. Thomas Alexander Martin: abt May 1874, AL; married Noemi Hamilton STEWART; he died in Houston, Tex, year unknown. Noemi died in 1906 in Hill Co, Tex 2. Luther Leonidas "Lee" Martin, b 31 May 1878 AL; married Sally TIDWELL in 1901 Ellis Co, Tex; she died May 1948; he d 26 Jan 1956, Tex 3. Charley Martin, b abt 1880 AL - nothing else known. Assumed dead before 1900 per census on Mary A.'s children. 4. Richard Oscar Martin b 21 Jan 1882, AL; married Clemmie Cleo DUNAWAY in 1902, Ellis Co, Tex (b. 1884, Morgan Co, AL, she was daughter of Thomas S. DUNAWAY & Amanda Lenorah BENSON - both born AL); Clemmie died 1976 in Midland Co, Tex. R.O. died 23 Sep 1937 in Gaines Co, Tex. 5. Arthur C. Martin, b 1885 in AL; married Cornelia STINSON (b Tex) 6. Ophelia Mae Martin, b Jul 1890 in AL; married Newel Elmer LUCAS in 1908 Tex; He was b 1887 Tex & died Feb 1952 Tex; Ophelia d in Malone, Hill Co, Tx 7 Doskey (female) Martin, b Feb 1892 in AL; married Enoch Houston BROWN (he was b Dec 1885, Blount Co, AL and he died Dec 1963 in Houston Tex) Doskey d 15 Feb 1935, Houston, Tex Am interested in ancestors, collateral lines, & descendancy.
