OK... Since we are all talking about brick walls, I will post mine.. Looking for information on John Martin who would have been born between 1780-1800 and lived in Hickory PA in the early 1820's. Unconfirmed information says his wife's name was Jane Cunningham. One of their sons (Allison Martin b. 1823) is fully researched and is my GGG Grandfather. (He was a riverboat captain during the Civil War). I have VERY LITTLE information on John Martin. I am trying to find the link between him and Andrew Martin, one of the first settlers in OHIO (by land grant in the Virginia Military district). We know they are related (by DNA check) but I do not know how. (I suspect he is either a child or 1st cousin of Andrew). Does anyone have any other information on John Martin, including other children, his parents, other spouses, etc? This is my brick wall.
