Well said Julia. My [paternal] grandfather's sister Mary Ashford, was a teacher at Crew's Hole school, Bristol, UK. She married a George Martin, who was a "horse-haulier" of St Phillip's Marsh, Bristol, about 1900. Would like to hear from anybody who thinks this may be their family line. I haven't done any genealogy work on the Martin line....yet.
