Per my understanding, the genealogy chat has been open approximately 2 years. However, it is fairly new to me and I have found it to be very helpful. The researchers there are so nice and they will bend over backwards to help you. I have visited other genealogy chats before and this one is the best that I have ever been too. I do not like to attend genealogy chats where people bicker with one another or gossip about others. I have not ever seen that type of behavior in this chat.
