You must also understand that worms and viruses can get your email address from someones address book and it can mail out things using your email and you may know nothing about it-nor does the person whos infected computer it is sending from. UPDATE(most virus programs have free updates to down load at their web sites) and RUN your virus program monthly or more. Never file attachments without scanning...it only takes a minute to prevent a lot of virus head aches. Never blame things on one person-you never know where these things come from. Carol Anderson ps: I apologize to some of the listers who are angry at this being off topic. I think this issue needs to be addressed an it is important for people to be aware...and to divert yet another MARTIN List Feud. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dean Sliger" <deanslgr@juno.com> To: <MARTIN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, November 26, 2001 5:59 AM Subject: Re: [MARTIN-L] Virus... > Jonnie - > > You must be new to the Internet.
