    1. Re: [MARTIN-L] WHERE ARE YOU
    2. Hi, James - I think this is one of those cases of close - but no banana!!! My 3ggf, William Martin was a postmaster in Benton Co, AR, in the 1860's, at Twelve Corners, Sugar Creek Township, near Pea Ridge. James is a very common name in this Martin line, and William's brother, Paschal Martin, had a son named James, b. abt. 1837 in Hawkins Co, TN, and moved to Benton Co, AR abt. 1852. William & Paschal had an older brother named James who can't be found after he left TN, other brothers back in TN also named sons James, which would have been the right generation for you - but I can't make the leap from Benton Co. or TN to Phillips Co, AR, for any of them. I suppose it's possible - but not to my knowledge. Good luck in your hunt! Pat Cross Davis - Texas patdmom@aol.com Burke, Callis, Carrothers, Cross, Martin, Paul, Warren, Wolf(e), Word
