    2. Alice, I am also researching John Martin from the Ala area. I have a time line of his marriage of 1898 to a Martha Hilliard. I am told his Mother's name was Rebecca and that he had a brother. Does any of this info match yours? Pam

    3. Dear Martin Cousins, I need some help. This is one of my brickwalls. My James Samuel Strickland b. 1832 Teneha Texas married Eliza E. Mayberry. The family and her daughter's death certificate says her name was Liza Martin. Also the family had her listed as Molly Susan Martin. Does "anyone" have a listing of a Mayberry family marrying a Martin or a Mayberry family as neighbors or migrated with the Martins. I do know that Luther D. Martin was originally from the Carolinas. They were in Mississippi and Union County Arkansas. They moved to Freestone Texas prior to 1860. Any lead small or large would be wonderful. Thank you, Sharon Holland http://www.familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/h/o/l/Sharon-L-Holland/
