    3. Was looking for any possible connection to an Owen Martin b. 1821, Va or NC d. 1865 in Meigs Co., Tn. He married Sarah Starnes in 1844, also in Meigs. Their children: Mary Ann, John, Sarah, Amanda, James, Owen, Jacob, Verina (also seen as Zeline and Salina). In 1850, he had a Susan Martin, 23, living with him - possibly his sister. The oldest child, Mary Ann m. Thomas J. Davis in 1863 and moved to so. Ill. ca 1867. They supposedly lived in Marion and Jefferson Co. before they finally settled in Saline Co. Thought maybe we had a connection.
