I have Martins who were in Fort Worth, I believe by 1885; however, I am not aware that other Martins in Fort Worth were related. My ggrandfather was Francis "Frank" Hough Martin, b. 1845 in Wayne Co., MS to Lucius Cary (L.C.) Martin and Mary Ann (Russell or Hough.) L.C. Martin was b. 1797 in VA, but was in MS by 1824. Frank Martin married Fannie Hutchinson from Choctaw Co., AL and did 1905 in Fort Worth. I believe I am aware of all of Frank's siblings, and my grandmother, Pearl Martin, was an only child, but it is possible that other Martin families in Fort Worth were cousins. I hope you're having better luck with this line than I am, LaFaye Sutkin Redlands, CA ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dave Martin" <dmartin@globalrmktg.com> To: <MARTIN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, June 30, 2001 6:43 AM Subject: [MARTIN-L] Re: MARTIN-D > Any information on Amos Martin b ca 1785 any where married Elizabeth hennessee > > AAnything on Martins in Ft Worth TX, or Upshire Co, Texas any year > > > Dave Martin > 713-772-1417 > 713-772-8839 fax > or e-mail > > > Thanks > Dave Martin <dmartin@globalrmktg.com> > Global Remarketing & Recovery, Inc. > 12869 Capricorn Dr. > Stafford, Texas 77036-6056 > 281-265-8600 > > See our Inventory on the Internet at > www.globalrmktg.com > > This message is intended only for the use of the recipient > to whom it is addressed.
