David, this is the notations that I have on this Shadrack Martin in my files. Nelda Martin Kyzar The first known ancestor of this Martin family is Shadrack [Shadrach]. His birth date and location [about 1735, either in Virginia or Great Britain have not been documented. Shadrach Martin lived in St. Peter's Parish and attended St. Peter's Church (built in 1701) in New Kent Virginia. He moved with the family from Virginia to Laurens County, S.C., prior to the Revolutionary War.
