I am still looking for by preverbal brick wall, however, it has become a much larger and thicker brick wall. Samuel Martin, died 1914,(San Joaquin County, California), and had several children. One of his children was Elizabeth Martin. Elizabeth married James H. Mayfield, and had two daughters: Mable Harriet and Evelyn Ethel. James died in 1900, and Elizabeth remarried a Thomas Edward Thompson, somewhere between 1900 and 1904. Thomas died in 1904. Elizabeth had a daughter, Verne in 1908, and Elizabeth died just three weeks later from kidney disease. My question....who is Verne's father. It is listed as Verne Thompson. Anyone have any ideas???
