War Pension #W8415, Knox Co, TN, 1803 b. 22 Jan 1755, Bedford Co, VA; enlisted in Surry Co, NC and lived in Surry Co. for about 10 years after the war. Moved to Knox Co, TN, ca 1787 for about 7 years; then to Pulaski Co., I thought TN) John Martin, served twice in VA Continental Line; as a private and sergeant from an unknown county. Pension started in 1818, at age 79. (My own notes aren't certain, as I wrote down he was in Wilson Co, TN, in 1835. He would have been at an advanced age in 1835! Pleasant Martin, in the VA Line Rev.
