Looking for information on James H. Martin. Believe he was born 1854 in Arkansas. Have been told that his parents were Moses P. Martin and Cecelia/Celia Kerr from Tennessee, but I have not yet been able to make that connection. James H. Martin was married to Margaret J. Crabtree b. 1858. Following children of James and Margaret Crabtree Martin were all born in Arkansas, according to the 1900 Census of Boone County: William T. Martin b. 1878 m. Stella "Stelly" Ledbetter John "Bud" Martin b. 1879 m. Minnie Morris Harvey L. Martin b. 1881 m. Mary "Mollie" Ladd Walter W. Martin b. 1883 m. Eliza Dabbs Jobe T. Martin b. 1886 m. Hello Tammy....... I did a little poking around in the 1880 Census and came up with the following info........ Somehow I think that this is your MARTIN family, and there is other MARTIN's and CRABTREE's near by....... This is the closest that I can find........ Check the 1870 census........ most likely you will find both James and Margaret and that they live near each other..... Sorry.... the LDS census records does not give the E.D. numbers....... you'll have to guess at that...... It does give the "Printed" Page number.........
