Hello Janet........ The following is the only Moses MARTIN listed in the Heritage Quest 1870 Texas Census Index.......... MARTIN MOSES 12 M M TX FALLS MARLIN P O 1584 111 I'll try to answer the question about the second family living in the same household...... Often there is 2 or more families living in the same household....... As for the census index part of it........ the transcriber is suppose to list the "EXTRAS"....... however... based on my experience at looking at lots and lots of films... that's not always the case........ You will have to look at the actual census images of various families that are connected to your family in the county that is in question........ Sorry that I can't be of more help.......
