I have in my files a Sarah J. Martin, b 1843 in Gibson Co., IN, daughter of Phillip N. Martin b 1788 d 1850 Gibson Co., IN. He married a Polly Unknown, b in KY. Sarah was the youngest of 11 children. Some of her brother and sisters married into the Knowles and Marvel families. Some siblings migrated west to Dewitt Co., IL, Mercer Co., MO and Enid, OK. Does any of this sound familiar?
