Hello Martin Listers: Looking for the ancestors or descendants of Abraham Martin who married Candice Chapin. Candace was born in Uxbridge, Mass 5 Nov 1769. The family can be found in Wardborough Township, Windham County Vermont in 1800 probably came from Mass. prior to this. By 1811 Abraham settled in Stanstead Plain, Quebec Canada and was postmaster their for many years. Children: Daniel, Orrin, Malinda, Jane, Amasa T. Chapin, Allen, Amarilla, Olive and Foster.
