    3. I am looking for death date for Richard (Robert?) EDWARDS and Cora Ellen (MARTIN) EDWARDS. In the 1930's they were living in Dimondale, Eaton County, MI, and Richard was a mortician. It is possible his given name was not Richard - my cousin has records that indicate his name as A. A. EDWARDS. But I would think that a mortician for a 'small' town would make him stand out. Cora was born Oct. 7, 1873; poss. died 1943; daughter of Hiram F. MARTIN and Sarah (CRAUN) MARTIN. As far as I know, they had a son Basil, born Apr. 4, 1904, and a son Robert. Cora believed to be buried at Old Dimondale Cemetery that is now part of Windsor Twp. Cemetery. I can only hope her husband is buried there, also. I'd like to send for Cora's death cert, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Julia Conkey Ridgefield, WA .Get more from the Web. 2. Robert Edmondson
    3. David Hunter...I am also looking for my 'Martins', but think we have different 'trees'. A couple of observations. Your 1880 Martha was only 35 yrs old? That means she would have been born 12 yrs AFTER Robt.'s mariage in 1836 to Eliza Mary. However, her age does look like mother to the listed children, @ 2 to 13 yrs. If she was instead more the age of Robt., she could be the same person...Martha or Mary. My GG/mo was listed as May(1850), & thereafter (1860-1880)as Mary (correct). I also noted that the first dau. born was named "Eliza", probably after Eliza Mary. Lots of puzzle pieces missing. You need more census data. You may want to look at the following site: "ancestry.com/search/rectype/census/ais/main.htm" It lists the selected surnames for the selected census year. If you can not access this at ancestry.com, I've pulled the following data for 'Robt. Martin': [1840] Cherokee Co (immediately next to Clay Co.) Iredell Co. Mecklenburg Co. Rockingham Co. Warren Co. Wilkes [1850] Alexander Co. Burke Co. Cherokee Co. Gaston Co. Granville Co. Rockingham Co. Rutherford Co. Stokes Co. Surray Co. [1860] Cherokee Co. {Robert H.} Mecklenburg Co. Onslow Co.
