Armagh; m. Catherine HENRY, b. abt 1790 in Co. Armagh. This couple had at least four children: 1) John MARSHALL, b. abt 1809 in Ulster (county unknown) 2) Margaret MARSHALL, b. abt 1821 in Garvaghy, Co. Down 3) James MARSHALL (my 3ggf), b. 22 Oct 1823 in Kirkmaiden, Wigtownshire, Scotland 4) Ann MARSHALL, b. abt 1826 in Wigtown, Wigtownshire, Scotland As you can see, this family moved across the North Channel to Scotland in the early 1820s. Clement MARSHALL was the son of John MARSHALL and Ellen WATSON, about whom I have no further information. I do not know whether Clement MARSHALL had any siblings, but if so, it is conceivable that your James MARSHALL (b. abt 1827 in Co. Omagh) could have been the son of one of Clement's brothers. Guy I.
