Gilliam of Charlotte County) (Spelling as in the original) In the Name of God Amen, I William White of the County of Charlotte and State of Virginia being of sound mind and disposing memory do hereby make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (to wit) First, I lend to my beloved wife Elizabeth the following negroes (to wit) Hannah, Viney, Collier, and Miller, with there future increase, and all my Household and kitchen furniture, to be freely possessed and Injoyed by her during her natural life, and I also give to her the free use and occupancy of the choice room my dwelling house with all necessary privalages and conviances during her natural life, and I also give to my beloved wife Elizabeth my Gig and Harness and her choice horse, to her and her heirs forever 2d I give to my daughter Catherine Collins one negro woman named Ratchel to her and her heirs forever 3d I give to my daughter Nancy Hamlet one negro woman named Cloey to her and her heirs forever 4th I give to my Grand daughter Angeline Brown one negro man by the name of Charles, also one acree of Land which I hold at or near Charlotte Courthouse to to her and her heirs forever 5 I give to the children of my deceased son John White a part of the Tract of Land on which I now live (viz) at a line begining at a Bridge across Cub Creek and running up the Lane to a small Branch calld Bear Branch, and up the said Branch as it meanders to the head, thus continuing up the bottom to the main Road agreeable to a chop line, to them and there heirs forever 6th I give to my son William P. White all the ballance of the Tract of Land on which I now live, and also the following negroes (to wit) Tom, Washington, and Milly, with there future increase, and also all the stock of every kind and all the plantation tools that may be upon my plantation near Charlotte Courthouse, all of which I give to him and his heirs forever 7th I will and devise that my tract of Land on the waters of Wards fork near Charlotte Courthouse be sold by my Executors hereinafter named on such Terms as they may think beast and the money arising from the Sale thereof be equally divided among my four daughters and the children of my deceased daughter Martha Robinson, that is that the children of my deceased daughter rececive one fifth part the share there mother would have Recvd if Living 8th I will and devise that all the moneys I may have on hand and all the debt that may be due me be equally divided between my beloved wife Elizabeth and all my children now living share, and Share alike 9th I will and devise that all the rest and residue of my Estate not herein before disposed of be equally divided among all my living children 10th I will and devise that after the decease of my beloved wife Elizabeth that all the Estate loaned to her be equally divided among my children now living 11th I hereby appoint my son William P.
