    1. Re: Re: [MARSHALL] Fw: Marshall family history
    2. Fern, Do you know the descendants of your Major Thomas Marshall? I have an ancestor named William H. Marshall, borna about 1832 in North Carolina, married Martha C. Pickle around 1852 near Memphis, TN, died 3 January 1877 in Cowley County KS. He and Martha lived in TN at least until 1858, were in Arkansas in 1862, moved to Illinois for the 1870 census and were in KS by 1873. I have no information whatsoever on William's parents. Lynn Stewrt Visone I have a > Major Thomas Marshall who served as one of the original Minute Men when we > were fighting for America's independence from England. He was from > Fauquair, Virginia.
