    3. Dear Peggi, My information is primarily from a collateral descendant, The Rev Edward Chauncy Marshall, of New York City, written in the mid 1840,s. I was able to copy his handwritten manuscript about 1960 from its owner in Windsor Ct. According to this My Thomas, the immigrant arrived in Boston aboard the ship Griffin on September 18, 1634. He was a widower and brought his sons, Thomas and Samuel and daughters Sarah and Frances. Other references say he brought only the sons and the daughters were from a subsequent marriage. According to E C Marshall, he said viewing the available facts, he probably came Boston, Lincolnshire or from immediate vicinity and was of the Tidd St. Mary's Marshall Family. I am descended from his son Samuel who moved to Windsor, Ct. Hope this is of some use. Is it possible your Thomas was on the same ship? Perhaps a cousin or brother? My John had a son he named Thomas in 1656. Peggi (Marshall) Cohen
