The origin of my Marshall line is one of my largest brick walls! I have gotten back to George Marshall born in England in 1800. He was married to Mary/Marie. He had 3 sons: George (b:1822), Thomas (b:1824), and Edward (b:1827). Family lore says they came from Liverpool, but that may not be correct. Anyway, I was looking at the IGI and found a George Thomas Marshall born in 1800 in Lynn, Norfolk, England. George was married to Maria, and his father was Thomas Edward Marshall. Does anyone on this list belong to this group? If so, have you participated in the Marshall DNA study?
