Marshall, 71, of Davenport, died Wednesday, April 26, 2000, at his home. Visitation will be at The Runge Mortuary & Crematory in Davenport, with a prayer service to follow. The body will be cremated following the service. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. He was born Dec. 18, 1928, in Muscatine, the son of Robert and Iota Troxell Marshall. He married Angeline Rock in Muscatine, on Aug. 17, 1950. She preceded him in death. He serviced in the U.S. Air Force. Survivors include his sons, Michael Marshall and his wife, Diana, of Long Grove and Mitch Marshal and his wife, Sue, of Davenport; a daughter, Melinda Marshall of St. Louis, Mo.; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, James Marshall of Illinois City, Ill. and Ronald Marshall of Ankeny; and two sisters, Janet Howard of Muscatine and Sherry of California.
