I picked up one of a couple, identified as John & Wife, John Marshall & Ariel Emeline. This was taken in the late 1800s or very early 1900s, by Odle in Big Rapids. She's wearing a black dress with a corsage on her left side. He's in a suit. I'd guess this might be a wedding photo, but I've never seen many of the ladies from this age wearing corsages. This is my best guess for dating the photo. I did find them living in Big Rapids in the 1920 census and were in their late 40s, early 50s in age. Emeline, came to the US from Canada in 1895.
