Agnes died at Williams home, 31 Caledonian Crescent, Hunterfield parish of Newbattle, aged 76 on 23 January 1902. Parents Robert Thomson, Janet nee Wilson. Have never found John's birth as not sure if he was illegitimate or what his parents names were. Also having trouble going back into Agnes's side of tree. Is Caledonian Crescent still there? My mother was in the Edinburgh Records office in 1992 and wrote out the above death details but as she had been there all day and was in her 70's she may have made some errors. Would welcome any info or advice from anyone out there. Hope to get over to Edinburgh in July this year but will only have a day to spare. Trish Mallia New Zealand
