Dear Marshal, I answered this to the list last month already, I guess it didn't go through. Ezekial Marshall died 3 Apr 1842 in Sumner Co., TN and left a will naming his daughter Frances Marshall and his Son-in-Law, William Durham. This is a transcription from a copy of the will. I've never been able to connect my Marshalls with Ezekial Marshall, although there may be a connection. See will below. God bless. Sumner Co., TN Book LR, pg 294(Roll A-5173) State of Tennessee, Sumner County I Ezekiel Marshall of the county and State afored. being of Sound mind an memory do consdtitute and ordaine this my last will and testament in form and manner as follows(to wit) In the first place it is my will and desire that my just debts shall be punctually paid. 2nd. I give unto the heirs of my daughter, Jinsey Caps now deceased(viz) Doak, Rosannah, and Amulet each one dollar and to Elizabeth Caps now living with me one Bed Furniture and Twenty Dollars. 3rd I give unto my daughter Elizabeth Gains and her heirs one dollar. 4th I give unto my daughter Anna Brack and her heirs one dollar. 5th I give unto my daughter Frances Durham and her heirs one dollar. 6th I give unto my son Eli Marshall all that tract of Land where on I now live and his Heirs forever, with all of my stock of every kind, Farming euthensils, household and Kitchken Furniture of every description, with the exception of the bed above bequeathed 7th It is my will and desire that my beloved wife, Lucy Marshall, shall have a quiet and sufficient maintainance out of the property bequeathed unto my son Eli Marshall.
