Hello everyone, I am sorry about taking so long to get on this little problem. I just returned from a short holiday and was unaware that our list was down until I returned. The server that our list is on is off-line with respect to sending and distributing mail. The basic story is that the server had had a hard disk problem earlier in the week, and when the disk was recovered by the system administrators, something else was broken and there followed a chain reaction. Brief information has been posted to the HelpDesk announcements zone, http://helpdesk.rootsweb.com/ for the information of list subscribers. Over the next while, there will be putting previously sent mail being resent through the digests. This is to ensure that the searchable archives at http://listsearches.rootsweb.com/ are complete, though Rootsweb.com will have to recycle mail back to 29 October. After that Rootsweb.com will be turning mail back on and the queued mail from the past days will be delivered to the server and lists. In other words, we will all be receiving a slow and steady stream of emails shortly of everything that was posted to the list in the past few days. If you have become unsubscribe to the mailing list, then check out the list's archives at: http://listsearches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl?list=MARSHALL Good luck and Happy Hunting Carol Gabriel List Admin
