Hello Duane and all, I have been trying to connect your Benjamin Marshall born about1759 to our Benjamin Marshall born about 1797. I have been trying to make this connection for years but have no proof. My Benjamin, called Benjamin "3rd" married Hannah Williamson about 1818 in possibly St George, Maine. They are both buried in the Hathorne Cemetery in Cushing Maine. There is a web site which says my Benjamin and your Robert were brothers. But I don't have documentation. Do any of you have documentation that they were brothers? That my Benjamin is the son of the Benjamin who married Phoebe Young? Dates, names and places seem to fit though. I have heard that my Benjamin has pension papers "somewhere". If this is true I would like to know where they are to be found. Perhaps they could shed some light on your Robert's parents as well.
