Janice, My prayers are with you and what you are going through. Diseases do come genetically. My father's family has all had cancer. My mother's family has diabetes, heart problems and thyroid problems. I am doomed. I have diabetes and thyroid problems as well as a couple of cancer scares. God bless you. Mary
