Hi Listers; I just got back from a vacation in Michigan and spent a day in the Branch County library and Court Clerks office. I now have new information to work from in my road block and am hoping that one of you can help. My gggrandparents, Lewis and Fanny (Clark[e]) Marshall were as far as I could get, but now I have both of their parents and the country they were born in. Lewis' parents were William and Ann (Brooker) Marshall from England. Fanny's parents were Henry and Mary (Blackman) Clark (or Clarke as it is spelled both ways in different records). Also from England. Lewis and Fanny were both born in England and apparently came over with their parents, possibly already married when they came over, but maybe they not. Both Lewis and Fanny had siblings that came over too. All settled in Branch County Michigan, mostly in the Algansee Township area. I have the death record of Lewis and Fanny and the marriage records of several of their children. If any of this works, please let me know. I would really like to find out where they arrived in the US and where they came from. Thanks B.D. Marshall
