Hi! My name is Mary Hall Marshall and I'm keeper of the family history on both sides of the family. My husband descends from the Marshall/Hobson line that goes back to the PA and NC Quakers in William Penn's day. I have much information to share. His line led from NC into KY and eventually ended up in Farmington, IA where they stayed for a while. My husband was named Stephen, which came down the line from the Hobsons in every generation from the time his distant grandmother, Anna Hobson, married a Marshill and named a son Stephen after her father.
