My husband's family name is Marshall. They came from the PA counties you mentioned. The great great grandfather was Charles M. He came to Youngstown, OH--North Jackson area, more specifically. His son Charles, Jr. Married a Lutheran woman, Bessie Hawker, They were disowned by Catholic Marshalls for awhile. Children: Edwin, Alfred, 3 girls and more boys.
