    3. Yes, I think there are mistakes as evidenced by the connection Mr. Paxton made for my wife's Marshall family connection. One has to remember how this book was constructed 120 years ago. Paxton wrote letters to people "back east" from Platte County, Missouri. He used the responses to assemble his lines. Those letters may be reviewed at the Western Historical Manuscript Collection at the University of Missouri - Columbia.
