Spouse: FRANCIS “Fannie” CATHERINE Marshall b. Oct. 18, 1820 in PA., d. Aug. 3, 1887 in Wetzel Co., WV. They were married on July 4, 1849 in Greene Co., PA. by John Strosnider. Francis parents were James Marshall from Monongalia Co., WV and Mary “Polly Ann” Calvert, Green Co., PA. Great grandparents might have been Hezekiah Marshall and Catherine Hiley. 1850 & 1860 Census finds them in Wetzel Co., (W)VA. Says that Joseph and Francis born in PA., children born in VA probably present day WVA. Children: JAMES F. m.
