I am a descendant of a Marshall born and married 1729 Newcastle on Tyne.William Marshall born 1710 married Christian Hutton b 1709. They moved to the Isle of Wight and had two sons Elias b 1737 and William 1732. Elias went on to be Master Shipwright at the Halifax , Nova Scotia shipyard d 1806. Any connections out there? William Henry Alexander MARSHALL, my 2gg uncle, married Anne (Annie) ADAMSON in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1872. They had seven children: Mary Wilhelmina MARSHALL (1873), Annie ADAMSON MARSHALL (1876), Andrew ADAMSON MARSHALL (1878), Margaret MARSHALL (1880), Henrietta MARSHALL (1882), Winifred MARSHALL (1886), and Helen MARSHALL (1888). William was a draper. He was born in Scotland in 1845 and died in Tynemouth in 1917. Any connections? Guy I.
