I am a descendant of a Thomas Marshall who died in Culpeper County, Virginia. His will is dated 3 May,1793 & probated 15 September, 1794. In the will he names his wife Zannah & Children John, Elizabeth Petty, Mary Davenport, Lucy Rosson, Thomas & Sarah. I have a lot of information from Thomas to the present but can not find who his parents were, his date and place of birth, siblings & etc. Do you know anything about his family? Hi Jeanne -- This is totally a longshot -- but, I have a Thomas Marshall who was born in Ireland, came to Georgia with his parents and 6 siblings in 1769. By the end of the Revolutionary War he was the only one of the family left in the U.S. I lose track of him in the 1790's. I can give you more information on his parents and siblings -- but have no idea if he stayed in Georgia, moved elsewhere, married, or whatever. My information is here if you're interested.
