Author: RitaHenry54 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.marshall/2891.2/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Hi Mike, Have you ever traced any of your MARSHALL'S comming from Barbados, Why I asked I have traced my MARSHALL'S from Leicester & Lancaster, England, to Barbados, then to St Vincent, I know quite a number of my MARSHALL'S went to the USA & Canada working their way up on Ships when they were very young even 9 years old, But the ones that stayed in Barbados, some went to St Vincent where I was born, And I live in the UK, so I managed to traced quite a number of them to the two counteys that I mention, I haven't managed to trace much of the ones who went to the USA, my gr-grandmother, Mother were a MARSHALL, her father were A MARSHALL, I found some in the 16-1700 from England to Barbados, they were related to each other from the 2 places that I mention above, Still searching , hope this little bit of information help someone out, Rita Henry [ MURPHY ] Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
