My grandmother Sarah Bernice Marshall married my grandfather Alfred Ernest Loughhead on 12/2/1901 with one of the witnesses at the marriage ceremony being her father John Christopher Brock Marshall. I got a copy of the marriage certificate from the SA registry. Her birthdate is give as 26/5/1881. I have not got her birth certificate as I did not know her mother's name. I plan to ask for a birth certificate using only the father's name to see if Sarah Bernice is actually the Sarah Jane in the reply from Hobbis.
